Magic Minerals Bronzer Kit by Jerome alexander.
I am a huge fan of The Orignal Magic Minerals Foundation, that i had actually purchased at a Dollar General store, in the "As seen on TV section." I was not expecting it to be my new go -to foundation, but I adore the stuff! I have done a YouTube video about it, it was that fantastic! I decided to contact the company, to see what was new in the world of Magic Minerals! I was sent the Bronzer Kit, in exchange for an honest review!
I love the packaging that showcases a host of products including the bronzer compact, a professional kabuhki brush, an eye shadow brush, and a clear lipgloss! I was pleasantly surprised to read on the package that the shades in this compact are not just for the face, but for eyes and lips, as well! You can actually apply a shade to your lips and seal it in with the long lasting, yet not at all sticky clear coat! I have not yet had as much luck using the shades as an eyeshadow, but I believe that I can fix that by investing in an eyeshadow primer.
I love the super soft and buttery texture of the bronzer. It applies so smoothly, and I found it very easy to build it up, while keeping an all natural tone. You can use the shades all together for a nice all-over the face pop of warmth. I like to use a small contour brush to create a super soft and natural definition. The light pink shade is one of my favorite of the shades to play with because I can use it to highlight, and correct any overusage of other shades.
In conclusion, I highly reccomend this kit for anyone from begginners, to fullface flawless experts! I also have to mention that the quality of the brushes included are quite lovely! The eyeshadow brush is amazing for packing on glittery eyeshadows to the lid, and I even had success using it as a concealer brush! The Professonial Kabuhki brush was perfectly soft and dense, and would make a lovely addition to anyone's brush collection! I really enjoyed this kit, and I cannot wait to see what Jerome Alexander comes up with next!
Natural deodorant has been a regular staple in my life for about two years now, and I have never even considered looking back. I strongly encourage my readers to look into the connections between traditional Anti-perspiriants and breast cancer, at your own will. That being said, I found a brand that worked flawlessly for me! Scmidt's Deodorant comes in a wde variety of scents, that actually work! I love the orginal formula, but some find the formula to be slightly irritaing to the armpits, people with senstive skin (My boyfriend, for example.) He loved that he could work in a hot kitchen all day and that he could depend on this product to do it's job. The only issue was that his armpits were not too happy with the baking soda in the original formula.
He was sad that he had to go back to traditional deodorants, because in his opinion Schmidt's did work better! After about two weeks have gone by, I am startled and excited by a post from Schmidt's on Facebook! This post was featuring their brand new sensitive skin formula, it was as if they had read my mind, and answered an unspoken prayer! I jumped imidiately at the chance to write them an e-mail asking if they would like to be featured on my blog... boy, am I one lucky ducky! Schmidt's was kind enough to send my Boyfriend a Tea Tree Stick (His very favorite essential oil!) and a Geranium Stick for me.
It is amazing to me that they were able to formulate something even more amazing than the original formula! This stick glides on like butter! I have never used a silkier deodorant in my life! The scent was gorgeously natural and clean. I could go on and on, but the real kicker is the fact that I have not experienced one single case of irritation or razor burn since I began using this formula.
Thanks to beauty subscription services and my sampling obsession, I am back on my game! April has been a month of amazing finds for me! I hope you watch my brand new YouTube video below, for the full scoop on a few of my favorite things!
Here are the things I cover!
*Vintage Versace sunglasses? I bought these for $2.00 from the giftshop that I work at. I honestly do not care if they are genuine or not, simply because I believe I rock them!
*Beauty Blender dupe under $2.00?! I got a bag of assorted beauty sponges from Big Lots in Miamisburg, Ohio. I strongly urge you to check your local Big Lots, and even surrounding area stores for this Gem of a find!! http://www.biglots.com/
*Ipsy GlamBag & BirchBox finds! The Tarte Lip Creme in Wonder is out of this world! Watch my video for a mini review and a swatch! The Blam Mr.Write now eyeliner in the shade Jac is a true winner for this blue-eyed gal. II have been looking for a brown eyeliner that is easy to see on the eye and still gorgeously subtle. This my friends, is that liner! Ciate nail polish has the perfect formula, application brush, and finish. The shade "Off My Duty Nude" has quickly become a go to for me as it is a classy, barely there pink with a fun twist! I have been seeing this perfume by Julliette Has A Gun for over a year on YouTube Videos, so I was very excited to recieve the scent "Not a perfume" in my latest BirchBox. I won't go into great detail, but this scent is very special because is is made with a single scent component as opposed to a melody of many components, a must try!
*As you all know I am obsessed with Essential Oils! This oil blend by DoTERRA called Breathe is a great way to clear your sinuses during allergy season, without medication!
*Deliciously scented and superb quality Wax Melts by PartyLite! I will leave you a link for my "Candle Gal" Kim's page! These melts smell outstanding, are made of amazing ingredients, and you can snag them at a great price!
*Of course I could not talk about my favorite things without mentioning Schmidt's Natural Deodorant! For more information about Schmidt's you can read my blog post, two articles below this one! They are all natural, junk-free, the customer service is out of this world, and best and most importantly, the product WORKS! (Yes, even on the sweatiest of pits! )
Thank you so much for stooping by, Forest Friends! I hope you enjoyed reading, and I hope you check out my video before you go-go! :) <3
Hello Forest Friends! Today i wanted to touch on a subject that I feel very strongly about.
I do not expect this post to be something that everyone will understand, or even agree with. I feel that there is a ton of evidence that antiperspirant contain harmful, or even Cancer-causing active ingredients such as Aluminum. In theory, Aluminum clogs the pores in our underarms, literally stopping us from sweating out the toxins that are within. I urge you all to do a little investigating of your own, as I can only speculate.
I have been using natural deodorants for almost two years now, and the fact that when I do sweat, I can barely smell anything, says to me that perhaps there is something to this, that maybe my pits have been detoxifying? The fact that my T-shirts have not had a sweat or deodorant stain in so long. I began using Coconut Oil, Baking Soda, and Essential Oil as my first natural experiment. Believe it or not, it worked like a charm! The only issue I had with this method, was that I felt quite a bit of discomfort, such as dry/itchy spells from the Baking Soda. I had this really great Shea Butter from LeBuerre Shop that I used alone when I ran out of my other ingredients, that worked really well, even without baking soda! I can tell you that through this detoxifying process I had a few bumps and discomforts along the way, but not nearly as much discomfort as traditional deodorant/anti-antiperspirant caused me in the past! The best part...no more razor burn!
I had been looking for an easier way to stay natural without having to use my coconut oil just for my underarms, and that I did not have to concoct myself each and every time. I tried everything I could find at the nearest Whole Foods type store, and nothing was as effective as the homemade method. I spent months researching and reading reviews. I like a page on Facebook that had across the board amazing reviews. The ingredients are nothing but the ones that I know first hand do the trick.
Schmidt's Deodorant!! I liked their page, and kept an eye out for any chance
to sample, and stalked all of their giveaways (which are very frequent..HINT, HINT!) The second giveaway that I entered, I won!! I got to chose my scent, and after a lot of deliberation I went with Cedarwood-Juniper, as I love both of those scents, and I know of beneficial properties to these oils, such as disinfection and soothing! I cannot say enough about this company! They are generous, have amazing standards, they listen to their customers, and best of all their product does what it says it will do! Plus, I have sampled two more scents, and they are also fantastic! I really hope that you look into antiperspirant and the links to health issues that I believe they cause for both women and men. I also wanted to save you all the time and trouble of spending a silly amount of money on products that simply do not do the job! Thank so much for hanging out with me forest friends! If you have been missing me on YouTube, don't fret, Sunday is FILMING DAY!! :) See ya'll next time!

Extraordinary Oil Line #ExtraordinaryHair
Hello again, Forest Friends!
You know that one of my favorite things in the whole, wide world is to go to my mailbox and find freebies. This is why Influenster.com has been a pretty important part of my life, since discovering their program about two years ago! On this site I write short reviews for products I have used in the past, interact with other users, and I then get surveys that determine if I will be a good fit for a FREE box they call a VoxBox!
I have received at least 6 boxes from them in the past, and I had just received one in late December! I was so excited when I got a survey asking me questions about hair products, as that meant there was a hair VoxBox coming soon, and I was being considered! I guess I fit the bill, because a day or two later I got an e-mail saying "I'm in!"
I did a full review on YouTube, and you should check it out, bcause I have to say that this is THE BEST drugstore system that I have ever used, no joke!
I will leave you guys with the link to sign up for Influenster.com for yourself, and the link to my review video!
I also wanted to let you know that I have been focusing more of my time on YouTube, and if you enjoy this blog, you will REALLY love my growing collection of un-boxings,vlogs, and all of my other forest adventures! <33

I will begin this review by telling you guys that I was insanely skeptical about this subscription service! I had a couple of close friends tell me that they had been less than pleased with past bags that they had received. Heck, one friend even canceled! I am not going to bend the truth, I watch a ton of "un-boxing videos" on YouTube. I have seen a few Ipsy un-baggings that made me a little bit thankful that I had not yet made the plunge. On the same token I have seen even more that have made me a little envious! As you all know, I live 30 minutes away from the closest "city." Shopping for luxury cosmetics outside of the confines of the interenet, has become a nearly impractical notion. I am hoping that exploring beauty subscrition services will cure me of my "shopping blues!" I had already subscribed to BirchBox, so I figured why not see what Ipsy has to offer while I am at it! I got the package today (3 days early than the expected deliver date!) I opened the beautiful and SHINY pink bubble mailer, with only moderate expectations. Boy, was I surpised!
I will link my UnBoxing and reaction video on YouTube down below (Check it out to see all of the products I got!)
I got a really great variety of products, makeup trumping the ratio! The quality of the brands included really wowed me aswell. One more thing that really sold me was the fact that they included a variety of shades in the bag. I have other subscription services that seem to send me a ton of red lip and nail products. I do not use a lot of red shades, so a pale pink nail polish was a great surprise!
I even got to try my first The Balm product (i know, I am extremely late!) The bag itself, completely adorable! This was the first shocking moment, as I have seen bags of the past that I would most likely give away! I am very happy to report that Ipsy has stolen my heart, and I will GLADLY spend another $10 to get this excited next month!
I would love to know your thoughts on my bag! If you also subscribe to Ipsy, let me know what you got in your bag! I would love to see everyone's Un-bagging videos! Thanks for reading Forest Friends! <3
Howdy Forest Friends!
I hope you all are staying warm and toasty! I know I have gone on and on about how I
live in the middle of nowhere, and how it kind of limits my shopping! I live a fairly healthy lifestyle, for me good health begins with what I eat. I know that the food I eat throughout the day will determine how I feel for the rest of the day. In my quaint little village of Astor Florida there are three stores that you can go to and grab a snack! Dollar General, The Kangaroo Express, or the local (mini) grocery store, and trying to find a snack without GMOs, High Fructose Corn Syrup, excessive salt, mood
altering dyes, or other hidden yuckies is seemingly impossible. Aside from limited produce, I do have constant access to KIND Bars (So Delicious,) but I have an adventurous palate, that craves something
new. I spent a long time scouring the internet for a solution, coming to a conclusion that a snack subscription service would be perfect for my budget and for my needs! I quickly decided to go with Graze! Over the last couple of months I have been stalking their website, watching unboxings, and reading reviews. I was in lust with Graze visually. The snacks were even described on the package in a way that made my mouth water! When I opened the box, I am sure my eyeballs grew about 3 times their normal size... The research I had done had proven to be no gimick. These snacks are
GORGEOUS! My favorite snacks this round have to be the Summer Berry FlapJack and the (savory and) Sweet Memphis Barbecue. It really was fairly difficult to chose two favorites, as each snack had something special about it.This box impressed the crap out of me! I can honestly say that everything tasted "clean" and just yummy. The only thing that was less than perfect was my ability to pace myself...The eight snacks vanished in two days, even before I thought to snap some photos. Oh well, I recorded my unboxing experience for YouTube, and I will be editing and releasing the video as soon as possible! I can safely say that this will not be my last Graze box, and I would love to open my next box with you! I will definitely get photos of the next round of snacks for those of you who aren't on YouTube! I do hope that you give Graze a try! Get your FIRST and FIFTH box for FREE!
Use the code:QPC3HPVJB
Thanks so much for hanging out with me, have a beautiful day!
Ps. Leave me a comment if you are subscribed to Graze or any other snack subscription! I would love to try some new ones, so leave me your thoughts! :-*
Hello Forest Freinds!
I just wanted to write a quick post to update you guys on what's
going on, and good luck that I have been having! It gets a little lonely out here in the
forest, and truthfully that is what lead me to get active on social media, for friends!
I wanted to start by thanking each and every one of you who has bothered to stop by
my page or checked out one of my videos! It means a lot to me.
I know that my first two YouTube videos are short of amazing
in the quality department, for that I apologize! The un-boxing video I did was purely
to thank the website Influenster for always sending me cool things to try out and review.
I had just recieved a replacement for my old broken laptop, and had no clue how to
use the webcam, or how bad it would look, but I knew that I needed to this, and I
could not think of a good exuse not to! This brings me to my good news. I got an
I-Phone yesterday, so I promise that my next video will not only be nice to look at,
but I have some really fun and exciting content in the works! I'll go ahead and spoil
one suprise... I subscribed to BirchBox and I will be sharing my first unboxing with
all of you! The release will depend, of course, on when my first box arrives, but
now we all have something to look forward to!
Please check back to find out what's up my sleeve for the future!
Thank you so much for reading, and have a BEAUTIFUL week!
Taking the negative with the positive!
I recently began exploring the wonderful world of You Tube. My boyfriend and I watch all of our media via XBOX 360. You Tube, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, and a few other subscriptions keep us up to date on shows and movies that we like! In the last year I have found myself going to You Tube for almost everything from entertainment needs, to hair tutorials. I love the idea of average people from all over the world being able to add their two cents to the media. I want to be apart of that world. I started a channel a few months ago, mostly to showcase a hilarious video of my cousins being the dorks that I LOVE! I also uploaded a video for Influenster.com (I know, I talk about them all of the time...) I got a VoxBox from them for Christmas, packed with random goodies! In order to thank them I decided to use the new laptop I got for Christmas to do an un-boxing video. The only problem was that I had only had this laptop for a day, and I had no idea that it was even capable of recording video and audio at the same time, so this video is truly a wreck, but I had so much fun making it, that I just didn't care how it may look to some. I was proud of myself for just doing the best I could in order to give back. I had to laugh when after gaining a few followers, I read a comment that states for me to "Get a better camera!" Someone took time out of their day to watch my video and tell me something that was more than clear to me. My first thought was that perhaps this guy had somehow missed Shia Labeouf's motivational speech! I did something that I felt would be good for me, beneficial to my anxiety issues, and good for a company that gives so much to me! I really hope that those who read this feel just a little bit better about whatever it may be that makes you question your own awesome-ness. You only get one chance to be everything that you want to be, and some of us may miss out on something amazing because we were too insecure, or someone told you that you would likely fail... I know if I would have listened to my own self doubt as a younger me, I would not be the woman that I am today. I am not perfect, but I do finally feel (at 27 years old,) that I would rather be myself, than anyone else in the world. <3 Thank you for being here, and thank you for being you!
*Here is the very first video on my channel! This is a clip of my cousins (Becca and Taylor) being adorable and HILARIOUS!*
